LAIKA is an acclaimed stop-motion animation studio behind Oscar-nominated films like Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Missing Link. LAIKA: Frame x Frame is an immersive touring exhibition that offers a behind-the-scenes look at LAIKA’s intricate filmmaking process—highlighting the artistry of stop-motion through life-sized sets, props, and interactive experiences. Partnering with global creative event agency In Good Company, I led the art direction and design of both 2D and 3D elements for the exhibitions in London and Lisbon. My work included the creation of custom logos, branded assets, and out-of-home marketing materials, along with printed exhibit content and digital signage. I also designed a companion app to guide visitors through the multi-room experience. To ensure future scalability, I developed a fully modular system for the exhibit’s physical components—enabling LAIKA to seamlessly adapt the show to new venues around the world.
